Home Remedy for Cellulite
Inexpensive Home Treatment Ideas
Welcome to "Home Remedy for Cellulite" page.
Do you hate to spend money on "iffy" creams, lotions and procedures?
Or maybe you just don’t have the money to spend?
Either way, you're in the right place.
Here we will explore different ideas for cellulite treatments, that you can do at home.
I have tried many, but the following ones are my favorites.
Again, before starting, I would like to encourage you to adjust your diet and increase you physical activity as part of your "minimize cellulite" treatment.
Ok, no more preaching, let's start with Home Remedy for Cellulite
Massage
Skin massage stimulates your circulation which in turn promotes healthy skin and helps expel toxins.
Dry brush your legs with a bristle brush or loofa. Brush in slow strokes, starting at your ankles and work your way up to your buttocks.
It is recommended to do it for 5 min every morning before your shower.
Why "dry" brushing? It will not strip your skin of natural oils, but will get rid of dry, dead skin.
The results? Softer, smoother skin.
Another option is to grab your used morning coffee grounds instead of the brush. Coffee??? Well, yes.
Caffeine is an ingredient in most anti cellulite creams, so it makes perfect sense.
One warning though. It will get very messy, so sit in the tub or on the edge of the tub, and lay newspapers around it.
I put a tiny bit of olive oil in the coffee grounds, so they hold together a little better.
Anti Cellulite Body Wraps
You can mimic those expensive spa treatments at the fraction of the cost, in the comfort of your own home!
What exactly do body wraps do?
With the right ingredients they will help with detoxification of your cells, reduce water retention and leave you with smoother, softer skin.
It is recommended to take a 5 minute warm bath with sea salt or Epsom salts before your wrap.
Sea salt is great for reducing water retention and detoxifying.
Also if you dry brush before hand, the ingredients in the wrap will penetrate skin better.
Let’s start with a seaweed wrap.
No, I don’t expect you to take a trip to the beach for the seaweed! You can get a seaweed mask at the drugstore or even better, your health store.
Apply the mask to your whole legs or just your problem areas.
Wrap your legs with plastic wrap (yes, your regular cling wrap).
Apply heat over the area. You can just use a warm towel and wrap it around or use a heating pad.
Relax for 10-20 minutes.
Rinse it off and you’re done.
Another one to try is the grapefruit wrap.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup corn oil
- ½ cup grapefruit juice (preferably freshly squeezed)
- 1 Tbs thyme

Massage into your problem areas for a few minutes.
Cover with plastic wrap
Apply a warm towel or heating pad
Rinse after 10-20 minutes
